Canton police are bringing back “CommunityConnect”.
The service initially introduced in 2022 gave 911 callers and crime victims follow-up information, like report info and investigative and court updates.
It’s back, thanks to a two-year grant from the Ohio Office of Criminal Justice Services.
The initial goal of the program was to provide better information to sexual assault victims.
